Laid Back Yet Chic

I can't believe its already March, Spring is almost here. The inspiration for this look was a laid back yet chic outfit that you can dress up with some heeled sandals or dress down with flats. It's the perfect transition from running errands to having lunch with friends.

Distressed Jeans: DL 1961 Jeans at Bloomingdale's
The focal point of this outfit are the distressed denim, this grunge yet chic look seems to never go out of style. Celebrities such as Miley Cyrus, Jessica Alba, and Rhianna have all been seen rocking this popular trend. I chose these distressed denim by DL1961, they are one of my favorite brand of jeans right now. DL1961 jeans are a little pricy, but knew that I loved the fit and style of these jeans and would get good use out of them so I splurged. You can find similar styles of this distressed denim at Forever 21, Zara, and PacSun.

Graphic Tee: Forever 21
Distressed denim jeans are comfortable yet stylish and can be paired with a basic blouse or graphic tee like I have chosen. This tiger print graphic tee from +Forever 21, is a fun and bold statement piece to add to your outfit. To top off this laid back chic look I layered a tweed moto jacket from +Forever 21 . This tweed jacket is great for those cool Spring days and adds that touch of chic to complete the look.

Always remember to accessorize it really does make a difference in the look you are trying to achieve. I decided to pair these distressed denim jeans with heeled sandals from +Forever 21, these are all the rage right now and can also be found at Zara and Steve Madden. For a more casual look try pairing this look with flats or gladiator sandals during the Spring. I am obsessed with any thing animal print, this Zara handbag tied in my tiger print graphic tee perfectly. For jewelry I decide to go for all gold  by pairing jewelry from Forever 21 and Henri Bendel.

Love is in the Air- Valentine's Day Outfit

Valentine's Day is right around the corner, whether you are single or taken this Valentines Day outfit is perfect for a night out with your girlfriends or significant other.

After much thought on deciding what to wear for this Valentine's Day look, I realized I hardly own anything red. I definitely wanted to incorporate your classic red that most people associate Valentine's Day with, so I decided to add a few red touches to tie in the Valentine's Day theme. An easy way to add a pop of color is to polish your nails red or use red in your accessories. I chose to bring out the red with my Henri Bendel wrist clutch and my handmade beaded bracelet.

Wrist Clutch: Henri Bendel
Bracelet: Handmade by Me :)

For my overall outfit I decide to go with this Black and White combo. This color combo is something I think everyone has in their closet right now and is simple to piece together. I styled this Valentine's Day look with this sharply tailored peplum jacket from Bebe. This jacket is very versatile and can be worn from the office to a night out. I added a chiffon sleeveless shirt with a hounds tooth print and faux leather leggings from Forever 21.

I saved my favorite piece for last, my ankle strap heel from Target, yes I said target. This was such a great find and at a great price, only $29.99!!! This ankle strap heel is a very popular style right now and can also be found at Steve Madden and Zara, but at a higher price point. This is a must to check out at Target, I think you will be very impressed especially with the gold detailing and overall look of this heel.

Another Reason To Love Target: On Trend With Floral Denim

I was off to do some errands yesterday and one of my first stops was Target. Had my list ready of items that I needed from Target, but of course like many of you I always get distracted in there. Who doesn't love Target!?!? You can find just about anything and there is always something there that you were not expecting to purchase.

Right now Target has an eye catching display of floral denim tops and bottoms. There was quite a selection to choose from, I honestly loved them all. Most of the floral denim consisted of pastels and yes I know its winter, but I could not pass up this great find. Living in San Diego we don't have a a very cold winter, right now its about 65 degrees and sunny. I am taking advantage of this great weather and rocking the pastel floral denim trend.

This floral denim trend is going to be very popular in the Spring, especially in the pastel hues. Stores including Target are already catching on to this trend. Some other stores that have this same style trend right now include: +Forever 21,  Nordstrom, Guess and Bebe. These are just some suggestions if you don't like the options at Target, but I think you will be very surprised and actually find a great floral denim top or bottom to add to your wardrobe.

I am so excited about my great find at Target. Below you will see the floral denim top that I chose. I just love it and the fit is perfect. Hope you can also find a great piece at Target, like I did.

Express Yourslef With A Graphic T-Shirt

My graphic t-shirt obsession started at an early age, my first graphic t-shirt that I purchased with my hard earned allowance was from Limited Too. I just loved the cute graphics and sayings like "Movie Star" LOL. A graphic t-shirt is a great way to express your self whether it is through words or images.

 Graphic T-Shirt: Wet Seal

I choose this t-shirt with with an article print out of Glamour Magazine, as soon as I saw this I had to have it. Glamour Magazine is one of my favorite magazines to get great fashion and beauty tips. I just love the collage of images and article prints mixed in with gold accents. This graphic t-shirt definitely expresses my personality. What does your graphic t-shirt say about you?

Faux Leather Jacket: Forever 21

Usually graphic t-shirts can call for a very casual look, but I have decided to go for an edgy look by pairing my graphic t-shirt with a faux leather jacket and leggings. By now I a sure many of you have some faux leather leggings and jackets from this popular trend in the fall, if not its time to think about adding these to your wardrobe. I did not want this look to come across as gothic looking, so I decided to go with this great jacket from Forever 21 to add a pop of color. This ox-blood color is a must have color for fall and it goes well with both black and brown. My faux leather leggings are also from +Forever 21 but you can find these just about anywhere right now.

Booties: Bloomingdale's

I just love these vintage chic lace up booties by Plenty at Bloomingdale's. I have been searching for the perfect pair of lace up booties and finally found them. Woohoo! Right now they are on sale for $133, they are a bit expensive but totally worth it. These booties are perfect to wear with skinny jeans, leggings or even a skirt if you want a more feminine look.
